Payment Options
Invoices can be paid by Credit Card, Cheque, or EFT/Wire Transfer.
Credit Card
Credit Card payments, including Visa Debit and Debit Mastercard, are accepted online through the University of Waterloo's Accounts Receivable website. To pay using the University's online payment portal, please have your customer number and invoice number readily available. Acceptable payment cards include Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Note that only invoices issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD) can be paid by credit card.
Please do not send credit card information by mail, email, fax or phone as the University cannot guarantee the security of these communications.
Cheque
For cheque payments, please make all cheques payable to the University of Waterloo and mail to the University's Finance Department, referencing customer and invoice numbers, at the address below:

Unless your invoice states otherwise, all funds are payable in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
EFT/Wire Transfers
To obtain the University's banking information please email your authorization request to uwbanking@uwaterloo.ca.
Please allow 24-48 hour for Finance Staff to review and complete the authorization form. Once completed, all payment notifications should be emailed to uwbanking@uwaterloo.ca referencing the payment amount, customer and invoice numbers.
